I read recently that the effort to enable internet service through household wiring is plugging along. An interesting side note: if the electric current is improperly adjusted, the wiring will itself transmit radio. Just think of all the poor people who undergo pschological evaluations and have to admit to hearing music and voices. My apartment building has been undergoing communication wiring upgrades and the flickering television picture demonstrates that the current is not set at it's usual place. And, by God, I heard voices!
