Theta deep relaxation glide- goes from 25hz to 4hz - heartbeat background changes from every 1 second to every 5 seconds - Sound pitch goes down to 100hz Next 45 minutes - heartbeat still slows down - binaural beat hoovering at 2 hz Submitted: 15-Sep-2002 by

Sounds interesting - I thought I heard somebody say binaurals below 4.5 HZ or so wouldn't work, though.. (Don't quote me on that.) |
Mike T, I've never seen anyone offer a satisfactory reason why it (entrainment) would not work below 4Hz or 4.5Hz or whatever. Noone seems to have said why... |
In lower frequencies, I guess you could fall asleep, or maybe start getting drowsy to the point it does not have the same effects as other methods (I'm poking holes in the dark =p).

Acording to representatives from ...www.awakenedminds.com and centerpoint.com They go well below 4 hz...awakenedminds to 1Hz and centerpoint down to .3 Hz in their advances levels...from what I read in the centerpoint web site and their awnser through email...the key apears to be in getting acustomed to lower and lower Hz over time...centerpoint recomends 6-8 months at any particular frecuency..learning to stay awake...they go down something like ....2.5, 1.5, .5 and .3... hope this helps someone santiago |
I got all excited about your preset. However, I can't play it. I downloaded both the bwg and wav files into my bwgen folder. However, when I try to play it I get the message: "cannot play bwgen_heartbeat.wav It is not a bwgen file or it is corrupted." (I think that's it; you get the gist.) (I also get this message about gong.wav.) I'd love to try the preset. Can anyone help? Please email me if you don't want to post here. Thanks! |
Eris, i think you have to put the file into you c: directory and change it name to heartbeat_sound.wav ... i am not sure if it will work for you but it worked for me.

I don't wish to dispute whether these presets work or not but, what I would like to do is to highlight two things that I think should be looked at... Firstly, a .wav file that clips, can't possibly be good for the purpose it's intended for. The bwgen_heartbeat.wav file clips at virtually every peak! I uploaded a new hearbeat.wav file that is free from any clipping. Hopefully the moderator decides to make it available. Secondly, please provide me the name and part number of the headphones you're using because, any pair that can accurrately reproduce 2Hz, I definitely have to have! Even some of the most expensive headphones available, don't go below 10Hz... |
It's still a wonder how anyone can experience 2hz or even 4hz when headphones can go that low.

The 4hz and 2hz are what are produced in your brain. They are the difference frequency the brain "hears" when you use the different frequencies in the right and left ears. That is the whole point of the binaural beats.

I tested this preset on my pet monkey and all of a sudden he stoped smoking which is great cause I hated when he did that, smokes seemed to appare from nowhere... For me though it didn't do anything noticable, Marcus

Yes, I tested this on my monkey allso and he quit smashing his head into the wall everyday! I think this might be worth something! |

My monkey didn't do anything as good as that but she did cry nonstop for a few days after listening to it only once

Since she stoped the crying she has been more happier than ever
