Refresh your mind
10hz-->Used to increase seratonin levels (helps with mental organization and focus) 35hz-->Helps balance out the chakras and in effect may help the mind to think more clearly. The 35hz binaural beat may also help with ADD, and the preset as a whole probably could help with that to. (It's important to realize that many ADD cases are mental or chemical imbalances which cause a variety of common unwanted troublesome symptoms.). I hope that this is able to help whoever it can. By the way, the length of the preset is 10 minutes. Submitted: 12-Jun-2003 by

The high-pitched tone with the volume modulation is agonizingly tough on my ears. It's hard to get by that. I'd suggest using a lower carrier frequency for the 35hz binaural..

I like this preset alot. It's good for if you are tired. It helps you keep awake and become a little more focused again. I love how its only 10 minutes. Its way better than Too Much Coffee because that's 40 minutes long. I think this one may be more effective too. I understand that the high pitch can be bothersome but what if you turn down the volume a little? That might help. So thanks for creating this ;)

agree, nice preset I used it (it was a sad, rainy day, didn't feel good...) and I was completely refreshed. I felt like on holidays or something, lol |

Now it seems like this preset doesn't do much for me. It helps me keep awake a little and a little more focus but not alot. Maybe I exaggerated before? I don't know. This preset is useful no doubt but if I'm really tired because of lack of sleep, it's not going to work for me. see ya

Modified this one as follows: Set left and right audible pitch separately. Remember to select the "Constant" box for each. Voice one: Left - 145 Hz Right - 155 Hz This amounts to a 10 Hz binaural beat. Voice two: Left - 132.5 Hz Right - 167.5 Hz This amounts to a 35 Hz binaural beat. This centres the frequency around 150 Hz, which makes the preset more effective, and much easier on the ears. Note: Personally, I don't use backgrounds or static noise at all. |

I found the background a little distracting so I lowered its volume a bit. I've tried both the original and the altered version by Artemis, and I'm not sure if it did anything because I just did another 'Alertness' one (Mind Power) and so I'm pretty awake and focused already. The high pitch in the original doesn't bother me at all. I'll give 'em a better shot the next time I need a pick-me-up and I'll report back then...
