I tried this last night when lying in bed, I added noise with half volume because I don't like pure tones. It neither made me sleep nor I remembered my dreams in the morning (which is always the case with the builtin sleep induction preset), but the "half-awake" state after waking up was more intense and vivid than before so I decided to stay in bed for another half hour to see if anything interesting is coming up. I'd say this is nice for weekends, but since I don't have time in the morning, I stay with my good ol' sleep induction.

Peter - Do not expect dreams with this preset - Delta sleep is deep, dreamless sleep. The 'sleep induction' preset has both theta and delta, if I am not mistaken.

Saaay, isn't Delta (deep sleep) the brainwave which nightmares occur in? Somebody make a preset that will induce nightmares! :-D I'll sure use it. Oh and you know, nightmares cause ppl to do reality checks which induces lucid dreams.

Would listening to this or any other delta frequency while sleeping make the experience similar to anesthesia or nitrous? Does the deep sleep make you forget the amount of time you were sleeping?
|
THIS WAS THE BEST SLEEP I EVER HAD, THE MOST DREAMS ANDI CAN STILL REMEMBER THEM, AND AS I WALKED BACK TO MY ROOM AFTER WAKING UP I CHECKED MY JEANS CUZ I HAD THOUGHT I HAD RIPPED THEM BUT THAT WAS IN A DREAM LOL VERY KEWL VERY FUN and no nightmares but not exactly things society would appriciate lol.

I have been using this Delta System for approx. 1.5 months and personally it has changed my sleep for the better. I often feel as I lay down b4 dosing off, sounds drawing me in toward a deeper rest state. I feel more refreshed and alert while awake during the night (I work the overnight shift 4 days out of a week and often hear that those who work such hours live shorter live spans b/c of lack of delta and REM sleep while sleeping during the day). I recently experimented by not using the CD a few days ago to find that I felt more tired and needed more naps during those evenings and nights. Psychosomatic possibly, but whatever it is, I feel the sleeping CD improves my sleep. By also not using any alarm clocks or external devices and waking up on my own really helps a lot.

Well i'm searching for a kind of delta wave where you don't fall a sleep really...like a kind of yogic sleep...yoga nidra...that is the best sleep reducer ever know...an hour would replace about 8hours of regular sleep! well i'm searching :) greetz |
